The world has begun to quietly say,"No"

We live in a world which has become accustomed to change, where people look forward to progress. Yet the inertia of society often pushes against the hopes and dreams of individuals who want social change. Quite often, those who want social change, or who strive for an ideal society, do not move forward by saying “Yes” to the status quo. It is those who say “no” to the impoverishment of modern life who can hope to change society for the better. For the weak and the marginalized, saying “No” is perhaps the final solution to endemic oppression. The World Has Begun to Quietly Say, “No” thematizes the positivity of “No”―refusal as the beginning of change―and gives form to the chaotic tendencies of the contemporary psyche.
